Yogurt Chicken

Ingredients

1/2 Kg Chicken

1 Cup Yogurt

1.5 Tea Spoon Red Chilly Powder

1.5 Tea Spoon Coriander Powder

1/2 Tea Spoon Garam Masala (Procedure Described)

1/4 Tea Spoon Turmeric

1 Tea Spoon Salt

1/2 Cup Coriander Leaves

3 Table Spoons Edible Oil

3 Big Onions Cut into Thin Vertical Pieces

1.5 Tea Spoon Ginger Garlic Paste

2 Green Chillies Cut Vertically

2 Medium Sized Lemons

Cooking Procedure

Add Chicken to a bowl along with Red Chilly Powder, Ginger Garlic Paste, Turmeric, Salt, Lemon Juice, 2 Tea Spoons Oil and mix well. Let the Chicken marinate for 1 hour.

Add Oil to a Pan on the burner and let it heat.Add Chopped Onion, Chilly to the hot oil and cook until Onion turns golden brown color.

Add Marinated Chicken to the Onion mixture in the Pan.Let the Chicken cook in its own juices on medium heat until Chicken is well cooked.

When Chicken is cooked add Coriander Powder, Garam Masala and cook until the gravy thickens.

Finally add Coriander Leaves and take off the heat.

Procedure for Making Garam Masala : Grind 1/4 Tea Spoon, 4 Cloves, 4 Cardamoms, 2 small Cinnamon, 8 Pepper pcs, 8 Kababchini pcs to make fine Garam Masala Powder.
