My favorite season used to be the fall, but more and more I look forward to spring like kids look forward to summer break. This year, my anticipation isn’t nearly as child like because we’ve had such a mild and sunny winter. January and February are usually torture for me, not due to the cold temperatures, which I don’t mind at all, it has to do with the lack of sunshine. I crave it and find my days are so much more productive when the skies are blue. Spring has come early here and I couldn’t be more thrilled. The grass is already turning green and birds are fluttering by, singing as they go. When I took my dogs for a walk earlier, I even saw some flowers beginning to bloom.
