About Recipe

Shredded or Minced chicken cooked with spices to a dry dish.

Ingredients

250 gms of Minced Chicken or Shredded

4 Cloves

4 Black Peppercorns

1 Inch Cinnamon Stick, crushed

1 Black Elaichi/Cardamom

2- Green Cardamoms

2 Bay Leaves

1 Tsp crushed Kasoori Methi

1 Large Chopped Onion

1 Tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste

1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder

1 Tsp Red Chili Powder

2 Tsp Coriander Powder

2 Tsp Cumin Powder

2 Tsp Tomato Puree or pulp

8 Cashews Soaked in 1/4 Cup Warm milk, later ground to a paste or use fresh cream

2 Tbsp Butter (for frying) + 1 Tbsp Butter

Salt as per taste

1/4 Tsp Sugar

1 Tsp Garam Masala Powder

Cooking Procedure

n Method:n n n  In a pan add 2 Tbsp butter, when its slightly hot, add cardamoms, cinnamon,cloves,bay leaves,peppercorns and fry for a minute.n n Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for 1 min.n n Add onion to the whole garam masala and fry till its pink in color.n n Add all dry spice powders and saute for a minute.n n Add chicken and saute for 2 mins. To this add kasoori methi.n n Add tomato puree to this and cook for another 2 mins.n n Add salt and sugar and adjust the taste. Cook till chicken is done.n n Lastly, add cashew paste. Cook for 1 min. Add 1 Tbsp Butter on top of it.n n Turn off gas and garnish with onion,cilantro,egg wedges and lemon.n n Serve hot with chapatis or naan.n nnn  n
