About Recipe

This is very nutritious recipe, rich in protein, calcium and iron.

Ingredients

1 Cup Quick 1 minute Oats

3/4 cup black gram (minnapappu)

2 Cups baby spinach

4 - 5 small green chillies or to taste

2 inch ginger piece

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

1 cup Paneer or any cheese grated

salt to taste

1.5 tablespoons oil

Cooking Procedure

n 1. Wash  and  soak the black gram for 1 - 2 hrs.nn 2. Grind the black gram to a smooth batter, to this add oats, washed baby spinach, green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds and salt and grind again to a smooth batter.nn 3.  Heat a nonstick skillet (tava) on medium heat, to check if the tava is ready, add a drop of water to it, if the water sizzles right away then the tava is ready.nn 4. Add a laddle full of oats batter and spread it evenly on the tava in a circular motion.nn 5. When one side is cooked flip the dosa carefully and cook for 30 secs.nn 6. Flip the dosa again and add grated paneer or any cheese to half of the dosa. Now fold the other half of the dosa on cheese/ paneer.nn 7. cook the half moon shaped dosa on both sides for few seconds.nn 8. Serve hot with any chutney or ketch up.nn Note: nn 1. If using regular spinach parboil the spinach and use.nn 2. Instead of paneer any cheese can be used.nn 3. Spinach can be replaced with carrots.nn  n
