Ingredients

Chicken 3lbs-washed and cleaned

Gongura or red sorrel leaves- 1 big bunch-chopped

1 Big Onion- paste or chopped

1 cup Mint- chopped

1 cup coriander-chopped

1/2 tea spoon Jeera or cumin seeds

8-10 sliced or chopped Green Chillies

1/2 teaspoon Sajeera or Black Jeera

3-4 tablespoons Yogurt

1 small Cinnamon stick

3-4 Cloves or Lavang

2 teaspoons Red Mirchi powder or as required

Salt to taste

4 Tablespoons Edible Oil

1 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste

1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder

1 Lemon

Cooking Procedure

n For Marination:nn Add cinnamon stick, Black Jeera, Cloves, Yogurt, Turmeric powder, red chilli powder, Salt, Ginger Garlic paste,Lemon Juice to the washed Chicken and leave it aside for 1 hour to marinate well.nn Preparation:nn 1) Heat oil in a pan on low flame and add Jeera,Black jeera,green chillies,onions and saute.nn 2) Wait until the onions change color to light brown or transparent, and then add ginger garlic paste. Keep stirring so that the paste does not stick to the pan.nn 3) Add the chopped sorrel leaves and close the pan with a lid. Cook on medium flame till you see the sorrel leaves cooked.nn 4) Add the marinated chicken and cook on medium flame till chicken gets cooked well.nn 5) Add salt and red chilli if required.nn 6) Add garam masala cook till you see oil on top of the chicken. Check to see if the Chicken pieces are well cooked.nn 7) Garnish it with Mint and coriander ans Serve Hot.nn Mouth Watering Gongura Chicken Ready to Serve and Eat!!!!!!nn  n
