Ingredients

1/2 Kg Ridge Gourd (Beerakaya / Turai)

4 Pieces of Chillies Finely Chopped

1 Medium Size Onion Finely Chopped

1/4 Tea Spoon Turmeric

1/2 Tea Spoon Salt

1 Cup Milk

1/4 Cup Coriander Leaves

1/2 Tea Spoon Coriander Powder

1 Table Spoon Oil

1/2 Tea Spoon Ginger Garlic Paste

Cooking Procedure

Chop Ridge Gourd (Beerakaya / Turai) into square shaped pieces after removing the outer layer and tasting for bitterness.

Heat Oil in a pan, add onion and green chilly to it. Let it cook until onion turns golden brown. Add Ginger Garlic paste, Turmeric mix well.

Add cut Ridgegourd pieces, salt and cook on low heat for 5 minutes

Add Milk, Coriander Powder, Coriander Leaves. Let it cook on medium heat until Ridgegourd is well cooked and water is absorbed.
