Its International Women's day and I wish all the lovely ladies a Very Happy Women's day. I'm sharing a recipe for a Persian dessert today called Sholeh Zard. Its a Persian Rice pudding which is rich in saffron and the rose water adds a nice aroma and flavor to this dessert. I had this dessert for the first time at my friends' place who is from Iran and I'm in love with it. This dessert is also a great option for my vegan friends as it has no milk. I have used Ramajeyam Seeraga Samba rice for this dessert and it was quicker than cooking with long basmathi rice.
