Quench your thirst with a refreshing Ayran Turkish yogurt drink recipe from Breezy Kitchen. Enjoy this classic yogurt drink with the goodness of Turkish cuisine.

Ingredients

16 ounces plain yogurt, whole milk (no fat free) or skim milk yogurt

1 1⁄3 cup Cold Water

Salt to Taste

Fresh mint leaves to garnish (Optional)

Cooking Procedure

Mix yogurt and water in blender until well blended. Add salt if desired. Start off with an 1/2 teaspoon salt and work your way up.

Blend until smooth and until you have foam on top. If you don’t have a blender, you can use an electric hand mixer or simply a whisk.

Serve in ice filled glasses.
