n METHOD: nn 1. Wash and soak the rice, urad dal and methi dana overnight or for at least 4 hours. nn 2. Take a grinder and grind the rice-dal mixture in batches. Add water if needed. nn 3. Take out the batter in a bowl and allow it to ferment for at least 8-10 hours. nn 4. If the batter is not properly fermented then allow it to ferment again for few hrs. nn 5. Add salt into the batter and mix it well. nn 6. Now take the Idli making pan and brush oil in each of the cavities. nn 7. Pour a paddle full of Idli batter in each of the cavity. nn 8. Boil enough water in Idli maker and place the idli pans carefully in it. Cook the Idlis for 8-10 mins on high heat. nn 9. After 10 mins check the Idlis, if not then cook it again for 2-3 minutes. nn 10. Once they cool down take them out of the the pans using a knife. nn 11. Serve the Idlis with Sambar and Coconut Chutney. Enjoy!!n
