While there are variations of cucumber salad, such as the creamy version, let’s back to basic: a simple cucumber salad with only light vinegar base.

Ingredients

1 large cucumbers (any kind)

1/2 red or white onion

4g (1 teaspoon) salt

115g (1/2 cup) white vinegar & 50g (1/4 cup) hot water, or 125g (1/2 cup) balsamic vinegar & 25g (2 tbsp) hot water.
