Healthy snack to munch on........

Ingredients

2 cups whole grain Kix crispy corn puffs

2 cups whole grain cherrios

1 cup corn flakes

1 cup mixed nuts (ground nuts, almonds, cashew nuts) and raisins

1/2 teaspoon red chilli Powder or to taste.

1/2 teaspoon chat masala

salt to taste

2 tablespoon oil

1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)

1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds

pinch of hing

1/8 teaspoon turmeric

few curry leaves, 3 dry red chillies

Cooking Procedure

n 1. Heat a wide pan on medium heat, add oil.nn 2. When the oil is hot add nuts, fry till they start to change color, now add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, dry chillies, hing, and curry leaves. Mix well.nn 3. Reduce the heat to low, then add  turmeric, redchilli powder, chat masala. Mix well, immediately add all the cereals. Do not burn the dry spices. Now add the salt & raisins and mix well everything.nn 4. Keep mixing on very low heat for 5 - 7  mins. Turn off the stove and allow it to cool.nn 5. Store in a air tight container.nn 6. Other Cereals like wheat chex, rice crispies can also be added. n
