About Recipe

A healthy sauce for pancakes, waffles , crepes or for yogurt.

Ingredients

1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)

1.5 to 2 tablesppons sugar

2 tablespoons water

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Cooking Procedure

n 1. In a saucepan combine berries, sugar, water and lemon juice.nn  nn 2. Cook all these on low to medium heat for 10 - 12 mins. Stir occasionally.  Cook for some more time if you want the sauce consistency to  be thick.nn  nn 3. Cook until all the berries are soft and all the sugar is dissolved.nn  nn 4. Turn off the heat and cool for few mins.nn  nn 5. Puree the mixture and strain it if you desire a silky smooth sauce.nn  nn 6. This sauce can be served with panckes, waffles, crepes or as yogurt topping etc.nn  n
