Crock pot baked ziti is a delicious, rich pasta dish -- with an amazing cheese topping -- that is so easy to throw together. You just let the crock pot do all the work for family dinner.

Cooking Procedure

n n n Brown ground beef in a skillet with onions until cooked through. Drain meat if needed.n n n n Add garlic, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper to taste and stir together, cooking for about one minute. In the same pan, stir in one jar of sauce.n n n n Take the second jar of sauce and pour half in the bottom of the slow cooker.n n n n Pour half the uncooked ziti pasta on top of the sauce, then pour half the meat mixture on top of that. Top with ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.n n n n Add the other half of the uncooked ziti pasta and pour the remaining half jar of pasta sauce on top, then pour remaining half of meat mixture.n n n n Place the lid on the crockpot and book on low six hours.n n n n 15 minutes before serving, add the last cup of mozzarella cheese on top and replace the lid until everything melts.n n n n Serve and enjoy!n nn
