About Recipe

Coconut chutney is a South Indian sidedish which is an excellent accompaniment to dosa, idli and Vada.

Ingredients

1 cup fresh coconut grated

2 tbsp roasted chana dal

2-3 green chili

1/2 tsp urad dal

1/2 tsp mustard seeds

7-8 curry leaves

1 tsp oil

1/4 tsp cumin seeds

salt to taste

Cooking Procedure

n n 1.Grind togather all ingredients with little water to a smooth consistency.n n  n n 2.Heat oil in a small pan.Add mustard seeds when they splutter,add cumin seedsn n     urad dal.Fry till urad dal becomes light brown.nnn n  n n  nnn n 3. Now add curry leaves, fry for a minute.nnn n  nnn n 4. Immediately pour tempering on coconut chutney.nnn n  nnn n 5. Mix it well.nnn n  nnn n 6. Coconut chutney is ready.n n  nnn  n
