Cluster Beans Lamb Curry

Ingredients

1/2 Kg Lamb

1/2 Kg Cluster Beans (Ghoru Chikkudu)

2 Big Onions

3 Green Chillies

1/2 Cup Corriander Leaves

1/4 Cup Mint Leaves

2.5 Tea Spoons Ginger Garlic Paste

1/4 Turmeric Powder

2.5 Tea Spoons Red Chilly Powder

1.5 Tea Spoons Salt

4 Table Spoons Olive Oil or Any Edible Oil

1.5 Tea Spoons Corriander Powder

1 Tea Spoon Garam Masala

Cooking Procedure

Add Ginger Garlic paste, Turmeric, Salt and Red Chilly powder to the cleaned Lamb pieces and let it marinate

Make 1 inch pieces of Cluster Beans

Heat Oil in a cooker. Add chopped Onion, Green Chilly and let the onion turn golden brown color.

Add Marinated Lamb and let it cook until water in the meat is absorbed.

After the water is absorbed, add 4 cups of water and cover the pressure cooker with lid. Pressure cook the meat for 15 minutes on medium heat after the first whistle.

Turn off the heat and wait until pressure from the cooker is gone.

Take off the lid on cooker and place it again on the stoveto add cluster beans.

Cook the mixture until lamb and cluster beans are well cooked.

Add Corriander powder, Garam masala, Corriander and Mint leaves. Mix well and let it cook for 5 minutes or until the gravy is thick enough to your liking.

Notes

Gharam Masala: Grind 1/4 Tea Spoon Shahjeera, 4 Cloves, 4 Cardamoms, 2 small Cinnamon, 8 Pepper pcs, 8 Kababchini pcs to make powder of it.
