Ingredients

Tur dal 1 cup

Spinach 2 clusters

Onion 1

Ginger 1/2 inch

Green chilly 2

Garlic 2

Oil 1 tbsp

Salt to taste

Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp

Cooking Procedure

Cook tur dal in pressure cooker. Keep aside.nRemove stalk of the spinach leaves and blanch it.nWhen cool,grind it with green chilly, garlic and ginger.nTake oil in a kadai,add cumin seeds, then add the onions and sautu00e9 till light pink. Then add the spinach puru00e9e and the dal. Add salt and allow to simmer for sometime.
