This is the BEST Yucatan Shrimp recipe you’re ever going to make. It’s chalk full of garlic, butter, and spices. It’s the perfect recipe to share with family and friends for the remaining summer days or even Labor Day weekend!

Ingredients

8 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/2 cup olive oil

12 garlic cloves, minced

Juice of 1 lime

1 teaspoon red chili flakes

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1-2 tablespoons of Sambal Oelek

1 lb deveined peel and eat shrimp

2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped

2 tablespoons parsley, chopped

Your favorite bread for dipping

Cooking Procedure

n n n n n n Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.n n n n n n Once the butter is melted, add the olive oil, garlic, and jalapenos. Sweat the vegetables until they are soft, approx 5-7 minutes. Add the paprika, chili flakes, Sambal Oelek, and lime juice. Now add salt and pepper to taste. Stir until well combined.n n n n n n Add the shrimp and cook it in the sauce for 4-5 minutes, or until the shrimp's flesh is totally pink and opaque.n n n n n n Finish the recipe by tossing in the chopped cilantro and parsley, gently stir everything around.n n n n n n Serve the shrimp in bowls with grilled bread or even over pasta!n n n n nnn  n
