About Recipe

In celebration of my husband's birthday, I threw a dinner party for family and baked a cake. Deciding on the type of cake was a bit overwhelming given the endless choices.  After much deliberation, I decided to go simple but festive. This is a soft and airy two layer yellow cake with a fine textured crumb, filled and frosted with the most luxurious chocolate sour cream frosting. Simply scrumptious. Happy Birthday Richard!
