About Recipe

A friend of mine is off too America in a couple of weeks and we've been chatting about all yummy stateside food she's going to enjoy. One thing that came up was the cinnamon roll. They are big business over in the States but you don't really see them around here much, well not in Liverpool anyway. So that I don't feel left out staying at home I decided to devise a recipe to make some so I could have a taste of America right here in good old Blighty. I've taken a shortcut and used ready made puff pastry in my recipe but if you have the time and the inclination feel free to make your own. I've also added some Amaretto into the mix as well partly because it goes great with all the spices and because I don't need an excuse to get some booze into a recipe. However if you are tee-total, leave it out of the recipe, the warm taste of all the spices and cooked apple is delicious enough on it's own.
