Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1½ tsp kosher salt

1½ tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

2 tbsp olive oil

1 cup BBQ sauce Optional, for serving

Cooking Procedure

Soak wood chips in water for at least 30 minutes. Preheat the smoker to 225°F.

Mix salt, smoked paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder. Rub the mixture onto the chicken breasts, using olive oil to help adhere.

Place the chicken in the smoker and smoke for about 1 to 1.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Remove the chicken from the smoker and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. Brush with BBQ sauce if desired.
