Ingredients

1 bunch Gongura leaves,(it weighs about a pound).

8-10 green chillies.

3/4 cup chopped onions.

1/4tsp turmeric.

3/4tsp coriander powder.

1/2tsp cumin powder.

2tsp chillipowder.

2tbs oil.

1/4cup chanadal.

salt to taste.

1/2tsp each cumin and mustard seeds.

1spring curryleaves.

1 red chilli.

Cooking Procedure

n 1.Wash gongura leaves,(take just leaves not stems) and add 1/2cup onions,slit green chillies,chilli powder,cumin,coriander and turmeric powders.nn 2.Add just 1/2 cup water to this cover and cook on medium heat til all the water gets absorbed.nn 3.Boil chanadal separately till they are soft.nn 4.smash cooked gongura leaves,add chanadal  and salt to it.nn 5.Heat oil in another pan,add cumin and mustard seeds.nn 6.when they start crackling add red chilli,curryleaves,and left over onions.nn 7.After onions turn brown,add gongura chanadal mixture and simmer for 2 min.nn 8.if required add water to adjust the consistancy.n
