About Recipe

This is my mom's recipe.I am sure it will not taste that bitter if u cook this way.

Ingredients

250gms bitter gourd.

1/2cup buttermilk.

1/2cup tamarind water.

1/4tsp turmeric.

3/4tsp salt or as per ur taste.

4tbsp oil.

2 garlic cloves.

1/4cup chopped coriander leaves.

1tsp chilli powder.

Cooking Procedure

n 1.Peel bittergourds and cut into one inch pieces.nn 2.wash thoroughly and boil with buttermilk,tamarind water,turmeric and salt.nn 3.Boil till all the water evaporates on medium heat..nn 4.Heat oil in a pan,add the above boiled pieces and roast till they get good color on low medium heat.nn 5.crush garlic and add to this.nn 6.Add coriander leaves and chilli powder and mix well.nn 7.take off the heat and serve with rice.n
