About Recipe

Year after year, when the leaves turn and the air becomes crisp, my grandma makes us her apple crumb pie. We usually have it to celebrate the holidays, or even just to enjoy apples at their peak. Whatever it may be, this pie turns the coldest autumn day into a day full of cozy warmth and happy people. It’s also impossibly easy to make. And what goes better with pie than ice cream? So, to make it special, I make homemade bourbon-vanilla ice cream to scoop on top, along side, or any other way you can imagine.
