Ingredients

1 pound Asparagus

2 tablespoons sesame seeds

1/4 teaspoon pepper

Salt as per taste

2 teaspoons low sodium soya sauce

Cooking Procedure

1. Wash the asparagus and snap the white hard ends, discard the ends.2. Chop into 2 inch size  pieces.3. Add  1 cup of water and pinch of salt to the asparagus, bring to a boil, reduce the heat and cook for 5 to 8mins until crisp tender. Discard any excess water. Or altenatively steam the asparagus for 5 to 6 mins. 4. Dry roast the sesame seeds.5. Add the olive oil to a nonstick skillet, add the cooked asparagus, salt, pepper and soya sauce and saute for 2 to 3 mins.6. Add the roasted sesame seeds and cook for 1 min, turn off the heat.7. Serve hot8. Be cautious with the salt as normal soya sauce contains excess sodium.
