Ingredients

1lb Skinless Salmon fillet

2 small eggs

1/2 cup finely chopped onions

1/2 cup finely chopped red bellpeppers

2 - 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro (coriander) or dill leaves

2 tablespoons chopped mint leaves (omit if using dill leaves)

1 teaspoon gingergarlic paste or grated.

1 teaspoon redchilli powder (cayenne Pepper) or to taste

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1/2 teaspoon garam masala

salt and black pepper to taste

3 tablespoons olive oil

finely chopped greenchillies to taste (optional)

Cooking Procedure

n  nn 1. clean and pat dry the salmon fillet, cut into 4 or 6 pieces.nn 2. Heat a non stick pan on medium heat, add olive oil. Then add the fish fillet, sprinkle salt and pepper and cook on both sides till the fish is nicely done, will take 8 - 10 mins. Allow it to cool.nn 3. Meanwhile finely chop all the vegetables.nn 4. After the fish is cooled mash it with a fork or hand or blender.nn 5. Now add all the ingredients except oil. Mix very well. nn 6. Form the mixture into small cakes, each about 1/2 inch thickness.nn 7. Add 1 tablespoon oil and cook them in batches over medium heat, 3 - 4 mins on each side. Drain on paper towel and serve hot.n
