Ingredients

4 medium sweet potatoes

1-2 tablespoons lemon juice

½ tsp chaat masala

1/2 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder

1/4 tsp red chili powder or to taste

1/4 tsp black pepper powder or to taste

black salt to taste

chopped coriander/cilantro leaves to garnish

Cooking Procedure

n 1. For cooking sweet potatoes heat a tawa/griddle on medium low heat, place the washed sweet potatoes on the tawa. nn 2. Cover them with a dome shaped lid or cooking vessel so that no steam escapes.nn 3. Reduce the heat to low.nn 4. Cook for 15 - 20 mins, flip, cover and cook for another 15 - 20 mins.nn 5. Peel the skin of  sweet potatoes and cut into cubes.nn 6. Add all the seasonings, mix well, garnish with cilantro.nn 7. Serve hot.nn  nn Note: 1. Sweet potatoes can be  boiled, baked  or roasted. Above method gives a nice caramalized taste.nn              2. Adjust the seasonings as per your taste.nn  nn  nn  n
