About Recipe

When Cauldron asked me to come up with a Chinese tofu recipe in celebration of Chinese New Year, my thoughts turned to pot stickers – Chinese-style dumplings – with a super tasty vegetarian filling. Something almost meaty.

Ingredients

whole grain spelt flour

medium ripe avocado flesh

sea salt

very hot water

brown mushrooms

firm tofu

soy sauce

dried jelly ear/black fungus

dried shiitake mushrooms

spicy dried chillies

fresh ginger

garlic

sesame oil

garlic chives

naturally-brewed soy sauce

clove garlic
