Soak Minapappu (White Gram) in water for 2 hours.
After 2 hours take out the water and make fine paste of it in the grinder. Keep the paste aside.
Now make rough paste of Onion, Jeelakarra (Cumin Seeds) Green Chilly, Garlic, Coriander in the grinder.
Add above spice mixture to the Minapappu (White Gram) paste.
Add Ragi (Finger Millet) Powder & Salt to the above paste.
Add 2 Cups of Water to the above mixture and mix well to make smooth paste. Add extra water if the paste is too thick or if you would like crispy dosa.
Let the paste marinate for 10 minutes.
Apply little oil to the frying pan on the heater to avoid dosa paste sticking to it.
Take around 1/2 Cup above dosa paste and spread it across the frying pan to make thin layer.
Cover the pan with lid for around 2 minutes on medium heat and turn around the dosa. Repeat the process until dosa turns golden brown color.
Tastes good when served hot. nn Goes well with Tomato / Mint / Coconut Chutney (Pickle).
