About Recipe

Legend has it that 1800 years ago, a man by the name of Zhang Zhongjing (a practioner of traditional Chinese medicine) invented Jiaozi (Dumplings) by wrapping mutton, chili and some medicinal herbs in dough skin and then boiled them in water to treat people whose ears got frostbitten during Winter. It is said that they helped warm the body and promote blood flow to the ears (Source: Wikipedia, so don’t hold me to it). My discovery of dumplings however is a lot more recent than that.
