A healthy dip for your Super Bowl menu. Chickpeas provide a creamy, nutty base that is accented with garlic, tahini and cumin.
Ingredients
2 cups chickpeas, well cooked; reserve cooking liquid.
1/2 cup tahini
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil, plus more for garnish
2 cloves garlic, peeled
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tbsp ground cumin or paprika, or half tbsp of each
Salt and pepper

n Put the chickpeas, tahini, oil, garlic, and lemon juice in a food processor or blender, sprinkle with salt and pepper, process until smooth Add chickpea-cooking water to reach desired consistency. Taste and adjust seasonings.nn Drizzle with olive oil before serving.n
