Ingredients

1/2 cup butter room temperature

3 Tbsp Sugar

1 tsp Vanilla extract

1 cup all purpose flour

1 cup almonds

pinch of salt

1/2 cup powdered sugar

Cooking Procedure

n 1. Toast the nuts until they are slightly brown. Let them cool, finely chop or coarsely grind them.nn 2. Cream the butter and sugar with a hand mixer, and the vanilla essence and mix.nn 3. To the butter mixture add the flour, chopped/ ground nuts, and pinch of salt.nn 4. Mix until a dough forms, do this with the help of your hands.nn 5. Cover it and refrigerate for 30 minsnn 6. Shape into balls and put on a baking sheet.nn 7. Bake for 15 mins.nn 8. Let sit for 10 mins and roll them in powdered sugar.nn 9. Let cool then apply second round of powdered sugar if you wish.nn  n
