About Recipe

This prime rib is seasoned with a savory bbq rub and then smoked to perfection on a Traeger pellet grill before we turn up the heat and reverse sear it for an amazing exterior crust. Served optionally with a horseradish cream sauce.

Ingredients

1 Prime Rib Roast (bones removed but tied on, 5-8 lbs (plan on 1 lb per person served))

Cooking Oil (High smoke point oil like avocado or grapeseed oil)

½ cup Kosher Salt

½ cup Black Pepper
