Homemade nut butter is so simple to make, just two ingredients (nuts and salt) and comes together in less than 30 minutes!

Ingredients

16 ounces (3 cups) raw almonds, walnuts or pecans

1/4 teaspoon salt

maple syrup or honey

ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Cooking Procedure

n - Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (176 C) and add raw nuts to the baking sheet, toast them about 10 minutes, mixing halfwaynn - Let them cool about 10 minutes when they are warmnn - Add roasted nuts to a food processor or blender and mix until a creamy butter forms. The nuts should go from whole, to meal, to clumps, to creamy nut butter. This can take up to 10-12 or more minutes so be patient.nn - Once the nut butter is very creamy, blend in the salt. If you wish to add additional flavors such as vanilla, cinnamon or honey,nn - Then transfer to a clean jar or container and store in the refrigerator up to 3 weeksn
