This Apple Pie French Toast is a deliciously warm, soft and moist fall inspired breakfast, covered with a thin layer of powdered sugar and served with warm syrup.
Ingredients
½ loaf organic seeded bread (about 9 slices), pre-sliced
2 honey crisp apples, sliced
2 eggs
1 tbsp sugar (I used Xyla)
½ tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp cream cheese
1 tbsp old fashioned oats
½ cup milk
1 tbsp powdered sugar

n span>Schedulenn n Pre-heat oven to 350F degrees. Spray a 9x5 loaf pan and set asiden n In a blender add the eggs, sugar, cinnamon, cream cheese, oats and milk and work it for 1 minute to combine.n n Arrange the pre-sliced bread in loaf pan. Place a ½ inch thick slice of apple between each slice of bread. Pour entire egg batter over the bread and apple slices. Bake for about 30 minutes or until bread starts to brown and get crispy around the edges.n n Sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar. Serve with warm syrupnn
