Tomato Prawns

Ingredients

1/2 Kg Cleaned Prawns

4 Medium Sized Tomatoes Sliced into 4 Big Pieces

4 Green Chillies Chopped Finely into Small Pieces

1.5 Tea Spoon Red Chilly Powder

1.5 Tea Spoon Ginger Garlic Paste

4 Medium Sized Onion Sliced into Vertical Pieces

1/2 Cumin Seeds Powder (Powdered after Frying on a Hot Pan)

1/4 Turmeric Powder

5 Table Spoons Edible Oil

Salt to Taste

12 Curry Leaves

2 Table Spoons Coriander Leaves

1 Tea Spoon Coriander Powder

1/2 Tea Spoon Garam Masala

1 Table Spoon Mint Leaves

Cooking Procedure

Heat Oil in a Pan and add Green Chilly, Sliced Onion, Mint Leaves, Curry Leaves.Saute until onion turns golden brown color.

Add Ginger Garlic Paste, Turmeric and mix well.

Now add cleaned Prawns, Red Chilly Powder, Salt. Mix and cover with lid to cook on low heat until Prawns are half cooked.n n Add Tomatoes to the half cooked Prawns and let the mixture cook well on medium heat.

Add Garam Masala, Cumin Seeds Powder, Coriander Powder, Coriander Leaves to the cooked Prawns.

Take off the heat after the gravy turns thick enough to your taste.

Procedure for Making Gharam Masala : Grind 1/4 Tea Spoon, 4 Cloves, 4 Cardamoms, n 2 small Cinnamon, 8 Pepper pcs, 8 Kababchini pcs to make fine Gharam Masala Powder.
