About Recipe

This gluten free bread recipe is amazingly moist and tasty with a beautiful crust!

Ingredients

1 cup of arrowroot flour

1 cup of buckwheat flour

1/2 cup of coconut flour

1/2 cup of almond meal

2 teaspoons of bi-carb soda

1 teaspoon of baking powder

2 eggs

1 1/2 cups of warm water

3 tablespoons of chia seeds

2 tablespoons of rice malt syrup

1/2 cup of pepitas

pinch of salt

Cooking Procedure

n n Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees celcius.n n Combine all the flours, bi-carb, baking powder and salt and pepitas in a large mixing bowl, leaving a small amount of the pepitas to one side.n n Mix the chia seeds into a jug with the warm water and let it stand for 5-10 minutes while the chia seeds start to expand and take on the water.n n Whisk the eggs together and add to the flour mixturen n Add the rice malt syrup and the chia mixture to the flour mixturen n Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly until you start to notice a gummy texture happening with the dough.n n Pour the mixute into a lined bread loaf tin and sprinkle the remaining pepitas on top of the dough.n n Bake in the oven for 45 minutes. The loaf should appear golden brown.n n Leave to cool on a wire airing rack before slicing.n n Enjoy! Makes about 10-12 slices depending on thickness.nn
