I promised more hummus recipes, so here we go. This is my Italian version. Can't get enough of the sun-dried tomato and basil combination. Change up the beans to cannellini which are popular in Italy. Lemon juice enhances all the flavors. Hummus is very easy and impossible to mess up. And so healthy! Also customizable which is my thing. Increase or decrease tomatoes or basil if you prefer. The water is optional for adjusting the consistency. Serve with homemade pita chips

packed basil leaves

fresh garlic

tahini

lemon

salt

water (optional)
