Healthy pancake recipe

Ingredients

1 Cup Sorghum (Jowar) Flour

2 Tablespoon Rice flour

2 Tablespoon Chickpea flour (Besan)

2 Tablespoons Semolina (Rava)

1/2 Cup Yogurt

1/2 Teaspoon Redchilli Powder

1/2 Teaspoon Grated Ginger (optional)

3/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds

1/2 - 3/4 Cup Finely Chopped Onions

1/2 Cup Finely Chopped Green onions (only Green Part)

1/4 Cup Grated carrot

1 - 2 Green Chillies Chopped Finely (as per taste)

2 Tablespoons Cilantro/ Coriander leaves finely Chopped

1 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds

Salt to Taste

1 - 2 Tablespoons Oil

Water as required

Cooking Procedure

n 1. Mix all the ingredients except oil, sesame seeds and water, mix wellnn  nn 2. Start adding water slowly and mix well till you get the pancake consistency batter. There shouldn't be any lumps.nn  nn 3. Heat a griddle on medium heat, pour the batter into small pancakes around the griddle. ake them a little thin than the original pancakes. Sprinkle sesame seeds on the top. nn  nn 4. Drizzle oil along the edges of the pancake. Cook the pancake on medium flame till the base begins to brown. nn  nn 5. Flip the pancakes and cook for 2 - 3 mins.nn  nn 6. Serve hot with yogurt/ pickle/ chicken/ mutton curry.nn  n
