Ingredients

1 large Russet Potato or 2 large red potatoes

1 to 1.5 Tablespoon finely chopped fresh cilantro (coriander)

1 teaspoon olive oil

1/4 teaspoon roasted cumin powder or to taste

salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Procedure

n 1.Peel (if desired) the skin and cut the potato into the shape of fries. nn 2. Soak them in the cold water for 5 mins. This step removes the excess starch from potatoes and makes them crispy.nn 3. Drain the cut fries and pat dry them with the help of a kitchen towel.nn 4. Transfer them to a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients and toss well.nn 5. Spread them evenly on a baking sheet. (parchment paper or aluminium foil can be used on baking sheet)nn 6. Preheat the oven to 425 F, bake the fries for 15 mins . Flip them and increase the temperature to 450 F and bake again for 7 - 8 mins or till desired color is attained.  Every oven varies so keep a eye on the fries.nn 7. Serve hot.n
