Smooth,Silky,delicious Yogurt Sweet Dish.

Ingredients

1 Container of Yogurt (907gms)

3/4 Cup Sugar (you can add more or less as per your choice)

1 Tsp Elaichi/Cardamom Fine Powder

1 Tsp Roughly Crushed Elaichi/Cardamom

1/4 Cup Dry Fruits Chopped (I used Almonds,Black Raisins,Cashew nuts)

Muslin Cloth /Cheesecloth

Cooking Procedure

n n n In a  muslin cloth, pour the yogurt. Tie a knot around the cloth, to make sure the yogurt does not spill.n n Hang the tied cloth with yogurt to the kitchen sink tap so that all the water from yogurt has drained out.n n Keep it for around 2- 3 hrs.n n Transfer the hung curd left in the cloth to a bowl.n nnn n n Add cardamom powder and crushed cardamom.n n Beat it with spoon so that the grainy texture is gone and it will turn to soft and silky texture.This should take around 3 mins.n nnn n n Add sugar to this and beat it till sugar is dissolved. Check for the taste and add more sugar.n n This will take around 5-6 mins.n n Add dry fruits and mix well.n n Serve chilled and enjoy!!n nnn Tips:n n n I have used approximately 3/4 Cup sugar, as I like shrikhand semi sweet. You can adjust the sugar quantity as per choice.n n Do not over beat it as it might start giving some oily texture for the shrikhand.n nnn  n
