About Recipe

I didn’t grow up in a family or culture was big on teatime or serving up appetizers and finger food.  I have however come to really enjoy it over the last few years.  It’s fun to get a dressed up, break out our special silverware and dishes and maybe put on some music with a bit of old-world charm.  This is another thing that I tend to do more of as the Holiday season approaches.  With the girlfriends it’s a fun way to show them that I love their company (and that I also that I want to catch up on everything in their lives).   For me it is also a nice reprieve from the usual nights of rushing and preparing food for the kids.  Sipping on tea and chatting with my girlfriends makes for a great night every time!  As far as the food I think it is always more fun to go with recipes that have some edge, or to even think up your own creations and not feel a need to stay within traditional boundaries.  Also, for teatime you do not have to be high-society to have a little high-society fun every now and then. You can make …
