About Recipe

I have a confession to make: I didn’t cook a turkey at Thanksgiving. I know – seems so wrong, doesn’t it? Let me explain… For the last couple of years I’ve skipped the turkey thing in November because I’ve adopted a new tradition – English Christmas dinner. You see, I live with a special someone who grew up eating turkey at Christmas (plus a whole lot of other things that I’d never heard of, but more on that later) and, as much as I like turkey, I can’t think about cooking it for two major holidays back-to-back. Nope, not gonna happen. So I’m afraid this one goes to Team England and now we enjoy our turkey all dressed up on Christmas day. Sorry, Thanksgiving.
