It’s September 1st!!! If you’re not as excited about the calendar as I am, I’ll try to downplay my excitement for you by reining in the exclamation points. Even though fall technically doesn’t arrive until late September, Labor Day weekend always seems like the final hurrah of summer. While I’ve been anxiously awaiting for this moment, because it’s a lot more socially acceptable to start talking about all things pumpkin and apple spice after Labor Day than it is in August, I’m sure there are some who are already going through summer withdrawals.
