I am a Classically trained chef (Pastry)- graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1995. Although I am most known for my cakes and pastries, I enjoy cooking a WIDE range of foods, and enjoy sharing my passion for food, health, and history with others!I have worked in ALL facets of the restaurant/hotel business, (front and back of the house), since high school. I have won various medals for Culinary Salons/ competitions- including a Gold Medal in the 1994 MRA-MCAA held in Detroit, MI for an Australian Lace Cake. Was the Executive Pastry Chef at the Palace of Auburn Hills from 1995-1998. I have successfully ran a side business of cake decorating for over 23 years! Recently received the Marquette County "Outstanding Volunteer Award", for all of my hours/ service to the area Girl Scouts. (Serving as a leader, as well as Service Team Member- involved in planning area events.)
