I absolutely adore avocados (10 points for alliteration). And I love anything that involves them, namely guacamole. Much like most things, store-bought doesn't hold a candle to fresh. I promise it's worth it. Plus, it's impossible to mess up. All it requires is frequent tasting and not worrying about exact measurements. Because I love it so much, I've made it for countless dinner parties and finally have a recipe I'm satisfied with. And I can say with pride, so are my friends. A couple tools that will make it easier are a micoplane for zesting (can use a grater) and a handheld citrus juicer for the limes. Red onion has a fairly mild flavor when raw. I like vine-ripe tomatoes for this because of the tart flavor and they are easy to seed (seeding is important because the seeds and liquid will make the guac too watery). I use disposable gloves when seeding and dicing the jalapeno so I don't make my prior mistake of dicing jalapeno, forgetting to wash my h
