Ingredients

1lb Prawns

2 Cups Finely Chopped Onions

3 Tablespoons Oil

1 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste

2 Teaspoons Redchilli Powder or to taste

1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder

2 Teaspoons Coriander Powder

1 Teaspoon Cumin Powder

1/2 Teaspoon Garam Masala

2 Tablespoons Dry Coconut Powder

Fresh Coriander (Cilantro) Leaves for Garnishing

Salt to needed

1 Greenchilli slit length wise

8 - 10 Curry Leaves

Cooking Procedure

n 1. Clean and wash the prawns.nn 2. Boil the prawns in water for around 5 mins,by adding half of turmeric and little salt. Drain and keep a sidenn 3. Heat a pan on medium heat, add oil, when its hot add green chilli, curry leaves and onions. Fry them till onions turn light brown color.nn 4. Add ginger garlic paste and remaining turmeric, fry for 15 sec, then add the prawns.nn 5. Now add redchilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and salt.nn 6. Reduce the flame, cover it and cook till the prawns are well cooked and all the water from the curry evaporates.nn 7. Add dry coconut powder and garam masala, cook for 5 mins.nn 8. At the end add cilantro leaves and turn off the stove.nn 9. serve hot with rice/ roti/ purin
