Ingredients

2 cups oats (rolled or quick)

1/2 cup rice flour

1/2 cup rava/ sooji (semolina)

31/2 cups water

2 tablespoons oil

1 cup grated carrot

1/2 cup finely chopped onions

2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves

1/2 teaspoon chopped green chilies

1 teaspoon jeera

1 teaspoon grated ginger

salt as per taste

Cooking Procedure

1. Add the oats, rice flour, sooji and water in a bowl, mix well and soak for 15- 20mins.2. In another bowl mix together the grated carrot, onions, green chilies, coriander leaves, ginger and jeera and keep a side.3. After soaking put the above mixture in a blender (grinder/food processor) and blend for 30 secs. Take out in a bowl, add salt. The consistency should be same as dosa batter. Add water if required.4. Heat a nonstick tava on medium heat, to check if the tava is ready, add a drop of water to it, if the water sizzles right away then the tava is ready.5.Add a laddle full of oats batter and spread it evenly on the tava in a circular motion.6. Sprinkle some carrot mixture on the dosa evenly. Add little oil around the corners.7. When one side is cooked( may take 2- 3 mins) flip the dosa carefully, reduce the heat to medium low and cook for 1 more min.8. Serve hot with chutney of your choice or sambhar.9. It should be served hot, it becomes too soft if its cold.
