Ingredients

1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour ( Atta)

1/2 Cup Finely Chopped Fresh Methi Leaves

1/4 Cup Yogurt

little less tha 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds

1/2 Teaspoon Redchilli Powder (Cayenne Pepper)

1/2 teaspoon Ginger Garlic paste

2 teaspoons Sesame Seeds

Pinch of turmeric

salt to taste

1 Teaspoon Oil + Oil for frying the theplas

Water as Needed

Cooking Procedure

n 1. In a wide bowl, add the flour, cumin seeds, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, salt and 1 teaspoon oil. Mix well to icorporate all the ingredients in the flour.nn  nn 2. Now add the yogurt and finley chopped methi leaves and mix well. Add water as needed and make a smooth firm dough. Cover and let it rest for 15 - 20 mins.nn  nn 3.  Heat Tawa Or Skillet On Medium Heat.nn  nn 4. Knead The Dough Again For 2 Mins And Divide Into Large Lemon Size Balls.nn  nn 5. Start Rolling The Balls Into Rotis By Adding Dry Whole-Wheat Flour.nn  nn 6. Place The Prepared Roti  Onto The Hot Tawa, Turn The Roti Over When You See Bubbles Appear On The Surface.nn  nn 7. Apply Oil On The Surface And Let It Cook For  Few Seconds, Flip Again And Apply Oil To The Other Surface.nn  nn 8. Press On The Edges With A Spatula And Cook Till Both The Sides Are Well Cooked.  Repeat The Process With Rest Of The Dough.nn  nn 9. Serve hot with yogurt and salad.nn  n
