Healthy Breakfast to start the day

Ingredients

1 cup Steel cut oats

3 - 4 Dried figs

10 Almonds

6 - 8 Walnuts

Handful Raisins

1/2 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder(optional)

1/2 Teaspoon Butter

Jaggery or Brown sugar to taste (optional)

Milk as required

2 Cups Water

Cooking Procedure

n 1. Wash and soak the steel cut oats overnight.nn  nn 2. Soak the figs, almonds, and walnuts overnight separately. nn  nn Cooking:nn  nn 1. Heat a pressure cooker or instant pot on medium low heat, add butter.nn  nn 2. Drain the water completely from oats, add to the butter. Fry for 1min.nn  nn 3. Add 2 cups water and pressure cook for 12 mins.nn  nn 4. Allow the pressure to release on its own.nn  nn 5. Chop the almonds and walnuts finely.nn  nn 6. Grind the figs with 2 - 3 tablespoons milk and add it to the cooked oats, mix well.nn  nn 6. Add the chopped nuts, raisins, cardamom powder, jaggery/brown sugar and required amount of milk, Mix well.nn  nn 7. Serve with banana for a wholesome breakfast.n
