n  nn 1. Many varieties of dosas can be created from the basic dosa batter. nn 2. For the basic dosa  preparation look for my brown rice dosa recipe.nn 3. Vegetables, cheese and eggs can be added as per your choice no particular measurment required.nn Carrot Flaxseed Dosa:nn 1. Grate the carrots, chop the onions and cilantro finley. Add salt to the dosa batter.nn 2. Pour a ladleful of dosa batter on the heated griddle/ tava, spread it in a circular manner to make a thin dosa.nn 3. Now spread flaxseed powder, carrots, onions and cilantro. and cook the dosa as described in the basic brown rice dosa recipe.nn Egg/ Omelet Dosa:nn 1. Beat the egg with little Salt.nn 2. After spreading the dosa batter on the heated griddle/ tava, spread  3- 4 tbsp of egg mixture all over the dosa and cook the dosa as described.nn 3. You can flip the egg dosa and cook the other side  for around 30 secs.nn Tomato Dosa:nn 1. For tomato dosa the batter should be thick, because the juices from tomato will  make a loose batter.nn 2. Grind the tomatoes, cilantro and green chillies.nn 3. Add this mixture to the dosa batter, adjust the consistency of batter by adding water if its thick or by adding a couple of teaspoons of rice flour, if its too thin.nn 4. Prepare the dosa as described in brown rice dosa recipe.nn Palak (Spinach Dosa):nn 1. Blanch the spinach leaves along with green chillies, drain out the waternn 2. Gring it to a smooth paste. Mix it with dosa batter and cook the dosa as described.nn 3. Sprinkle some parmesan cheese on top for extra flavor.nn 4. You can use coriander (cilantro) leaves, or mint leaves instead of spinach leaves. No blanching required if using these leaves.nn Onion Dosa:nn 1. Chop Onions and cilantro finely.nn 2. Spread the dosa batter on heated on griddle/ tava, then spread the onions and coriander (cilantro) leaves and cook the dosa as described.nn Cheese Dosa:nn 1. Spread the dosa batter on the heated griddle/ tava, add cheese on top as per your taste and cook the dosa as described.nn All these dosas can be served with potato curry or chutneys or sambhar or even hummus.nn  n
